    Thoughts on converting 05FZ6 to dedicated track bike?

    I don't have a lot of track experience (1 CS course) but interested in converting my current 05 FZ6 commuter into a dedicated track bike. I heard it is better to start on a 300 for a track bike and it's a lot cheaper (tires go through faster?) Curious what everyone's thoughts are

    Downsides to going naked?

    Does anyone ever regret converting their FZ6 to being naked? I am thinking about it pretty heavily because I really don't like the aerodynamics of the fairing, and I just miss having a naked bike. But my FZ6 is just about perfect. Almost spotless. For that reason, I'm hesitant to tear it apart...
