The manual states to check chain slack on the centerstand. Presumably checking slack on a paddock stand would throw off the measurement seeing as the swing arm would not be hanging as if it were on the center stand. My bike does not have a centerstand. How do you guys who don't have centerstands...

Saw an ad for an '09 FZ6R with < 1k miles for $2900. Supposedly runs perfect, ready to ride but with some cosmetic damage. Is this worth checking out? What should I look for? thanks! -j

I just read a post on changing the oil but it still didn't directly state my answer. For Checking not Changing do you check the dipstick with it on side stand or center stand?
