back fire exhaust pop

    Bang Bang Pow Pop Pop mmmmmmmmm

    What essentially is back firing, and is it a good thing or bad? I have a 2006 FZ6 stock air fiter and M4 exhaust. Letting off the throttle produces a (see above in title) loud glorious popping sound. Input any one?:eek:
