Hi Erci (and all)
I still check in once in a while, still have the FZ6 Fazer (up to 62,000 miles now) AND 4 years ago got myself a 2006 FZ1 Fazer as well :D.
Regards, Senior
Wow Kenny..... [emoji33]
I stop by for a quick scan through and Im surprised by this, but i guess its better to let it go and it keep being ridden... [emoji3][emoji106]
Still got mine, upto 62K miles now from the 4k miles when I got it 11 years ago. It did get a big brother last year, a 2007...
Website says R&D in UK, so assume made elsewhere.
My son has one on his SV650, it is well made and sounds good.

The CO settings are set specific to each bike at factory.
The FZ6 has 2 settings
C1 controlling cyclinder 1&4 and
C2 controlling cylinders 2&3
I had a fiddle and increased the set values by a small amount by adding a uniform 15 to both (I'm sure it does go up past 100 from memory).
Note...
Hello All, I'm still here, I do look in from time to time.....
Finally, I've got there to the 50,000 miles.
I have owned my Fazer since end of 2008 when I first learned to ride, and got it with 3700 miles in the clock.
Just got back from a 5 day, 1200 mile trip from UK to Germany...
Welcome to the forum
The Haynes manual is good for both the S and S2 models.
(but be certain which one you actually have, mine is the first version , built in 2005, 5VX6, but registered in 2007 )

Thanks for the Birthday wishes . Still riding the FZ6, got new tyres yesterday and had to go and scrub them in rather than coming straight home , oops .
I still check in from time to time , and its good to see its still all friendly and helpful, and a TOP forum.
Good riding to you all.
Now...
25000 miles done on 5 sets of Dunlop RoadSmarts with around 5000 miles per pair and never had any issues riding all year around, more than enough grip in the cold and wet. At the last change I decided to try Dunlop Roadsmart 2, and they are definitely lasting longer and perform the same if not...
Definitely change sooner if you ride all year round in wet and damp conditions.
Changed mine at the correct time(by the book) and shall be doing the next change at half the service interval.
The induction sound is definitely changed (as more air is getting in), I found that it had more...
Some close up pictures would be greatly appreciated as I have a pair of stainless steel Scorpions waiting to go back on, but have been having trouble fitting with the same Givi rack brackets.
What external diameter are the Delkevic cans
Cheer, Simon
Thanks for all the Birthday wishes for yesterday.
Rode the Fazer to work and knocked off VERY early to get some new tyre fitted. Great day.
Off out for a 200 mile rideout Sunday
