Par for the course - I have seen LEOs do worse than that in cars/SUVs. I agree that it was an unnecessarily unsafe pass given that he was trying to (presumably) catch a speeder. It's unnerving when another bike passes you at such a higher rate of speed relative to your own. All that said...
