I had a similar choice about 2 months ago. I had the option between a 2006 and 08 fz6. Price was about 2K different. 06 had 800 miles and the 08 had 2500. I went with the 06. I have not regretted it at all. I use mine for commuting back and forth around town. There is plenty of power if...
thanks guys. And yes I have been checking tire pressure on a reg/weekly basis since the first time I felt/imagined that it slipped. Im going to take it into the dealer tomorrow and have them take a look at them and see if they see anything that I am missing.
No stripes or crown on the road...
Thanks for the input so far. I have to laugh a little about some of the questioning of my aggressiveness. Im the guy that gets 48+ mpg, rarely has it over 5K rpms in any gear and am making these turns at around 18-22 miles an hour entering my housing community.
I do not know if it is all in...

Just waiting for the guy with the 08 to get...
Thanks champ. I figured that might be a positive. I was also concerned about the 06 not being used enough in two-three years and sitting idle. Will that hurt it at all?
Thanks Rob.
Right now I am looking for a commuter to and from work on back roads, no highway riding. Does the hp make that much difference in that type of riding?
Brand new to the board, first post actually.
I just finished my riding class/certification and am now ready to purchase my bike. I have it down to 2. Both models are the FZ6. One is a 2006 with 871 miles for 3800 and the other is a 2008 with 3K miles for 5K.
My questions to those who are...
