F/s '06 fz6 -$3200 **SOLD**
I'm selling my beloved FZ6 for financial reasons. Bike is in perfect mechanical condition with 12k miles.
Front and rear tires replaced in August with Bridgestone BT-016; plenty of tread left. Oil was changed regularly and chain kept lubricated. Personally built...
That's what I was hoping to hear. It's a sad thing, having to sell her; she was beyond good to me. The sad thing, I won't be able to buy one new... ever.
Sad day: I'm having to sell the bike; I can't afford it anymore. I bought the bike in Feb with a loan and haven't missed/been late on any payments.
My question: if I sell the bike now (after 10 months of ownership) what will this do to my credit score? The whole scoring system is pretty...
I recently purchased these saddlebags and i'm really impressed with the initial quality. However, upon trying to mount them, I'm having alot of trouble finding mounting points.
When I put the velcro straps under the seat and under the grab bars, the bags seem to hang really low and at an angle...
I never thought about just leaving the calipers... good eye. As far as the scissor jack, it's very similar to what the dealership uses, they just have the benefit of someting specially made that disributes the force over a larger surface.
Tools you will need:
-Scissor jack (or any jack of some sort)
-5/8" spark plug socket
-3/4" wrench
-12mm socket and ratchet (or wrench if you like working slow)
First, put the bike up on the center stand and lock the handle bars. Then, place the jack on the #2 or #3 header pipe and...
6'2", bike feels just fine to me. However, I also look big on the bike. Saw myself in a reflection on an FJR and realized what people were talking about (looked perfectly natural on that one).
Here's something for juxtaposition: I let my dad (6'6") ride my buddy's Ninja 250R (the new one) and...
Does anybody have anything to say about these bags (good or otherwise)? I ordered a set of the 60L bags because I didn't want the sale to go away before I had a chance to do some research.
Hey buddy, I also feel your pain. Roommates have been nothing but trouble for me. The last one I had didn't pay his bills and didn't tell me he hadn't paid them until i got a nasty letter from our leasing ofice threatening to evict us. I had to clean out my savings account to get us square with...
I have an 06 making the same noise. Interestingly, it only ticks when it's in gear, driving the rear wheel. If I just wrap the motor up in neutral to where I normally hear the noise, I get nothing.
Did you just fab them up and put them behind the rear cover? Did you use any exact plans? I've always been concerned about the "ricey" sound aftermarket exhausts can create and I'd love to get a good, cheap, solution. Can you post a vid with the sound?
