Yes, consider yourself lucky. I hit a dog about a couple months ago, didn't fair as well as you. Went down, not much damage to the bike but tore the ACL in my right knee. Makes you gun shy everytime you see a dog within 50 feet of the road now.

Yep, the Gap and the Skyway are usually a mess on the holidays. Lately with all the law enforcement its been more cruisers than anything. Today they had to pull a Harley out of a tree on the Gap.
