To me that looks like a connection lead to plug an Optimate battery charger up to. guess the easy way to check is see if the battery has extra wire coming from it.

i don't have a control wire just the two, one to the positive and one to the negative of the battery. as i say the only concern with this set up is the battery goes dead if they are left on as i've found out to my cost.

yes there are wires that can be connected straight to the battery, there is also a fuse which can easily be accessed so it can be isolated to save it being accidentally left on. The switch is on the handle bars where it can be switch off as well as control the temp. I'm guessing the only way...

Can i ask whats wrong with using that wire? i do have the controler so they can be turned off.

Hi, just fitted some oxford heated grips but looking at this site no one has wired them in the same way. i've wired the earth direct to the battery and the positive to the red and white tracer wire coming off the starter relay on top off the battery. My question is, is this ok or could it...

Recently fitted a lea vince exhaust, has any one fitted the two discs supplied? and has anyone found with the db killers out the left hand can stays cold, can this be a problem :) Plus thanks for this thread really helped with the install :rockon:

just a long shot but have you checked the wheel alinement as this would throw the disc off line? :Flash:

No i dont, not during warm weather but my mate does when the roads are a bit tricky in the winter or damp roads, i may check the road outside the house on frosty mornings to get a feel for the road but that because the only times i've crashed was on icy roads. Rich:Flash:
