I ride the FZ to and from work every day for about 8 months of the year; rain or shine. I wouldn't call it commuting though... it's enjoyable (commuting implies drudgery, no? ;) I don't get out much for pleasure riding... evenings and weekends are mostly close to home with the fam.

I was tempted to put the battery back in and take 'er out, but figured I'd get covered in salt from road spray. If I had a driveway I'd be able to wash the FZ after the ride, but in a condo not much place to wash it.

i'm on GTAM; mostly as a lurker. 2008, but not blue. black! really like the 2008/2009 blue but it had to be black : )

I'm also hoping to find a way to get the engine temp to display in celsius. Has anyone had any luck with this?
