Thanks Mexi-can't, that's nice inconspicuous way of placing the outlet. Unfortunately I'd have to run the iPhone cable all the way from the ****pit to the tankbag and I'm afraid the cable isn't that long. I'm sticking with the under-the-seat option...for now. ;)

Even after 2 years I still have to make a decent pic of my bike. I'd better wash it down first... it hasn't seen any soap in a loooooong while. :)

Thanks! I'm now thinking maybe to install the 12V socket below the seat and just run a iPhone cable from there to the tankbag. Might be less invasive and there's less to mess up with my 2 left hands. :D
