those cases with the SW Motech racks will most likely work with aftermarket exhausts. They do install using the stock fender so some working around is needed with a FE. TwistedThrottle.com has them, I paid right around $425 shipped.

depends on whats being used. We talking base coat clear coat or spray bombs? Also, if using spray cans, be sure not to use enamel and lacquer. Choose on or the other as they do not play well together.

I've seen R6's for fairly good prices. By the time you take an FZ and mod, the money spent could buy a nice used R6.
