I understand it is hard to own a firearm in Oz, is that true? I would think with all the wilderness it would be commonplace. BTW nice choice in a caliber and rifle. The scope should be ok with the low recoil from a 243. I really like Leupolds and Nikons.
I have around 50 or so. Around 25 are handguns. I also have a carry permit, so a few are used for that. Most are just shooters and used for hunting or woods protection. Don't know how anyone can feel comfortable in a house with out a firearm or two.
I have the 650. I got it because I thought it would be a good bike to camp off of. My 18 yr old son bought one also (with my help). I am thinking about a FZ6 especially nekkid. LOve the looks and I heard it handles as great as it looks.
I currently ride a DL650 Vstrom and would like to get a bike that is a bit more sporty. The FZ6 looks more sporty but is the ride going to be that different or should I go with more of a sport bike with the clip on bars? The standard bars and more upright position is more desirable as I am...
I rie those roads alot. I feel fortunate to live this close to such good riding. I have a VStrom and a dr200. There is good dual sport riding here too. I am considering getting a sport bike just not sure which one.
+1 (actually insure 6 bikes with them) Type of bike does not change rate only the age and ccs will change your rate. BTW your liability is way too low. The minimum should be 100,000/300,000 for liability; the increase may not cost you much. 20k is not much at all. You dont want to be...
I like Olympia gear. They make a regular and mesh pants. They use real Cordura and CE armour. Good quality is not cheap. $189. for either solid or mesh. Both come with liner for colder weather and in the case of mesh, rain. Online or most BMW dealers stock them. Not usually on sale.
