come to find out i had one cylinder dead and the carb, arent getting the gas it should, so far thats what the bike is telling me. i put new plugs in it and new coils i can now rev her up to 25 grand befor she dies. now its time to do the carb. rebuild. thanks for all the help

using the choke? the choke not making any diff. as soon as i use the choke it dies. the pet****'s have a fuel out out and a vacuum line going in on both sides

i already draind' the gas tank, and i have two pet****s on each side of the tank, and they have diaphragms on the back of them, but gas does flow good out of them. sprayd' wd40 on the inlets and no change. it has mikuni/hitachi carbs. not sure which thats what they came out with anyways.air to...

i have a 1981 xv920 with troubles it starts up and idles fine but when given the throttle it falls on its face and dies. if anyone can help i would be greatful

hello all, well i guess for starts i dont have a fz6, but i do have a yamaha. i did have a 82 xv920 virago but gave that one to my brother. i ran across a 81 xv920 looks like the TR1. i got it on a real good deal. i just like the older bikes.
