    People are so F*ing stupid

Not that I advocate such thing ... I found is using a valve core remover to unscrew the core just enough to let air out of the tires but not enough to make it obviously the problem. Doesn't cause any expensive damange except the frustration when they keep having to put air in the tire and not...

    Not warming up the engine

It's typically be better to warm up an engine by being easy on it, then it is to sit idleing. I just make sure it's got a smooth idle before I head out and am easy on it until the temps come up.

    Fuel quality/power increase

Sadly there are no knock sensors which means it won't retard or advance timing. This is the single reason I run premium fuel, high compression no adaptive timing == rather be safe then sorry.

    Porche 911 eat my dust.......:Flip:

HAHAH I'm with you on worrying about riding... No I'm not an owner but I had my share of Audi's and BMW's. I was shopping for a 993 at one point. The 993 911 was the last "drivers" (yumm oversteer) 911, minus the GT3, but when owning one you need about 1-2K extra a month budgeted for maintanence...

    Porche 911 eat my dust.......:Flip:

Ok I have to ask was this a 997,996, or 993 and was it a C4, C2, GT3, GT2  , TT, or a C4S? A GT3 is amazing in the turns, a TT is orgasmic in the straights, a GT2 will cause me to hump the owner'e leg, any other model, Eh whatever. edit: Oh ok it was an 05 so a 996... now back to...

Gas tank gauge sticking at 70%

I think the fuel level sending unit is part of the fuel pump so my guess would be replace that or try running a few bottles of Cheveron Techron in with the next couple of fillups.

Please Help - New Bike - Rear Brake Issues

It's strange because it looks like it's dragging on the inner part of the rotor and not on the rotor face it self, thought it could just be the picture. The dealer doesn't assemble the rear wheel, they should adjust the chain tension. My guess it's either the caliper bracket isn't sitting...

    Its not in the Manual.

The filler cap is just held on by the allen bolts there should be no hoses. The pump though I'd remove before respraying. Unhook the hoses from the pump , then remove the pump and when reinstalling replace the o ring. Naturally plug up the filler cap and pump holes to prevent overspray. Edit...

    What revs

I like wringing out the most out of any engine, it's engineered to rev high and has a certain power band, use it!. I'm not saying I ride like that everyday, though I'll never bog an engine, but for the most part the redline and torque peaks aren't just made up numbers. In my opinion the...

    Crashed hard on my FZ6...

Hey man as long as you're ok then it was a good crash. The bike can be fixed! A Typical response by most is to try to stop when things get hairy, don't beat yourself up to much for that. It's a very hard habit to break whether it be in cars or bikes. I can say, both riding and driving ,there...
