Something I have learned is that when there are shifting issues, half the time they can be resolved with an oil change. Both the transmission and clutch pack are lubricated by the engine oil. On a low mileage bike the motor and clutch are still shedding grits faster than normal and this can...
Last year I got 89 HP on the dyno bone stock and have seen 153 mph several times at a local airstrip. Stock gearing and all. It just takews a while to get there.
Just my 2 cents.
Got to watch mine throw sparks for 150 feet and stop without me on the back at the limit line to an intersection:eek:
I was warming it up and it fell on the other side because it vibrated its way off the side stand. I must not have had it all the way down and forward.
Hey Wavex, how many has...
I had an 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer that I drove on the trails in the mountains near here. It has been my e-mail and various forum name for over 10 years now. I should sue GM for stealing my name and slapping it on one of their suvs.:spank:
Its been in the 90's here this week, 31+ Celsius.:Flash:
It was snowing in the hills above us 2 weekends ago.
I can't wait for May so the weather becomes predictable again.
Hey we all know the best protective gear is a Corona Tank top, cut off denim shorts, white sneakers (maybe crocs), and a backwards cap.

I found these pics of the world's largest land based machine. It and others like it are working in mines in Germany. It looks like at least one is bound for Canada soon to work in the oil shale fields in Alberta.

Well that explains why my dentist can not make me numb for any dental work. It sucks when local anesthesia doesn't work and you just have to grin and bear it.
To begin, I am in a semi intoxicated state, thanks to Coney Island Brewing Company and and a Belgian Tripel earlier. (Thank God for spell check)
Now for the rant....
For those of you who may not know I live in the center of Central California, about 20 miles from the geographic center of...
My cousin has a ZX-14, in a straight it is pointless to try and keep up. When we are in the mountains I pull away easily in the curves. He dropped it while trying to keep up. Now I have a couple of friends with ZX-10's and they run away from me every time even in the curves.
I bought a house so life got real expensive and internet access was low on the priority list. I got a bunch of debt paid off so here I am. It is good to be back. Looks like the place has been busy though.
Probably not gonna be covered, but you can try. These bikes are known to be a little buzzy around 8k rpm. Mine did the same thing at the point where the clutch and brake cables go through the rectangular loop in front of the triple clamp. A little duct tape fixed it right up:thumbup:
Wow, you guys got little states:D
Shoot, our counties are larger than some countries around here.
Though I have been through New England, pretty in the fall.
Check your front tire out. If it is cupping in the tread then there is the problem. It could also be out of balance as well. My bike had the same problem and the front tire was cupped out pretty bad. A new tire fixed teh problem right up.
STAND UP! Ride standing the whole time. You have way more control this way. Which model DRZ? I have the dual sport, though it gets a lot more dirt time than street. If it is new, get rid of the stock tires, get some good street nobbies, I run the D202's and find that I end up with more...
One of my joys in life is while deep in a turn scraping the pegs, wave at the bikes in the on coming traffic and totally trip out the the guys on there Ducati's and stuff:Flip:
Though I do have to admit, there is a guy around here on a hypermotard and he is FREAKING FAST! The only thing that...
