Re: The debate is over. Rotella T wins!
Am I the only one who just puts in regular Yamalube 4-stroke, about which there is no debate as to its fitness as a motorcycle oil?
I got it at the dealer for $4.99 a quart, which I didn't think was all that bad... It's not synthetic, but...
Where's the option "Whenever I see a spec of dust on it"?
Maybe it's because my bike is brand new, but I can't stand for it to be dirty. So, whenever it gets dirty, I clean it. I think, for me, it's pride of ownership that makes me want to keep it looking its best.
Additionally, I...
I agree completely. This forum has such well-mannered members, it's actually quite amazing to me.
I haven't seen a single thread where anyone gets rude, or offensive, or anything distasteful. Maybe it can be contributed in part to good moderators? ;)
I just went out to check something on my bike and noticed a nice little puddle under the bike (it's pretty hot out right now). It is coming from the tube you're talking about and it definitely smells of gasoline.
It's dripping at a pretty good pace and, with gas prices the way they are, I...
I agree with what everyone has said about it being a short commute and the bike hasn't had a chance to warm up.
What I'd like to add, though, is that when the fuel gauge gets to the last bar, you're probably only going to be able to put in about 3.5 gallons or so. With that calculation...
Definitely let us know what you like about it. There's an '06 1000rr for sale near me and it looks preeetty sweeet.
Can never have too many bikes..... right?
It's just more comfortable for me, that's all. There's definitely no technical reason for it. In fact, I've never really thought about not pulling it in all the way at a stop, it's just habit by now, I guess.
Nope, I hardly ever pull in the clutch all the way when shifting, either up or down. The only time I pull the clutch in all the way is when I'm coming to a stop at a stop light.
I'm just getting the hang of the clutchless shifting that others have posted about, and that makes for some pretty...
Well, you know what they say... when one door closes, another one opens. But why would you close the door on an FZ6?? :shakehead:
J/K - I hope you have good times with your new bike.
