So Unseen, how did this seat work out for you, or should I say, how long did you used to ride before you would have pain in your butt with the Yamaha OEM compaired to how long you can now ride with out pain with this new seat?
Place on sidestand, fill while off bike when at a station, but I like to keep it toped off centerstand at home, when I do short rides like 30-60 miles. I like to keep it toped off because my buddy with out much warning won't to go on long rides 150-200 miles long. And ya! my butt hurts.
Try 153 mph, and this is without a windshield, and I think it's the earlier version FZ6 before the 2007 when Yamaha did motor upgrades

I have the same problem Se7enLC, I'm thinking that I must be pinching a nerve in the inside of my hands or something. I do use gloves to, I was thinking that it may be something I would just have to live with, or maybe a good working suggestion may come around. Being a new rider and only 11 day...
Ya! I found it 2004. But they say lots of other things to, I think there must have been many changes in the FZ6 since then, just this year the SV650 has gone away from the V twin to an inline four and I understand Honda has stopped making the 599. Still looking for some new reviews.

Don't forget, tires have a max weight rating, you don't wont to blow the back tire. Just a a referanc, you may have notice that going from a 1/2 ton truck to a 1 ton truck requires a much higher weight rated tire. That in mind must also be the same for a motorcycles I would say. Damaging the...
