I've been using these HL for as years. It may not be the softest in the ear canals but they seal extremely well and block sound better than any other foam ones I've tried. It's one of the highest rated NRR too.
I definitely don't feel any flex from the risers. I think if you're a rider who rides with your weight on the bars (push-up style w/ arms straight), you'll lose tons of road feel going to risers. I brace with my back and ride with a slight bend in my arms, which absorbs some feedback from the...
I already noticed that too. I think it's inherent in the riding position as you're moving away from the forks/tires. Stock definitely feels more sporty.

Heywood. I noticed on mine the plug boots don't sit flush either. Around 1-2mm gap. Previous owner stated the plugs were changed but I didn't believe him. But when I went to change mine this weekend I noticed the fins on the rad were all banged up and the valve cover was chipped. Tell tale signs...

I'm in Lawrenceville and ride year round. I love riding in the 40-50 degrees, with the proper winter gear of course. Summer is when I ride the least. Too hot!
Yeah it cranks strong and on the first try, every time. When I hook up the tender it's always above 80% charged. I only worry about a dead battery b/c at 5'7 it's not easy getting the bike rolling while on it for a jump start. Thanks for the replies everyone!
