Thanks for the responce. Only trouble I am having is the bolts that would hold the frame sliders are now covered by the new fairings. I wonder if the ones for the FZ1 would work? they seem to be staggered or offset from the mounting location. Or maybe I should just have a hole drilled and run...
I bought them from the dealer that I bought the bike from in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Called Tricity Cycle.
The cost has a bit of a story however the salesman did me a favor and I got the lowers for $580.00 cad +tax.
My friend got them $620.00CAD +tax from the same place.

Thanks Guys for the great tips. I tried carb cleaner, it turns the sticker to mush in seconds and you can almost wipe it right off with a cloth, however I am reluctant to spray that stuff on the painted surfaces.

I probably would not have bought the fairings but the guy I work with that has the same bike convinced me to. Happy I did cause I think they look really cool.
A colleage of mine also bought an FZ but its an 07 and he also bought the lower fairing but in a nice blue colour. It looks sharp. I haven't seen it on any bikes on the web other than mine though.
Does anyone have any good tips to help remove stickers and decals easily?
I just spent about 1 hour just to remove 3 small ones and my finger nail is really sore.
I was considering removing the decals but a little scared as they are hard to replace. I was also considering add a decal to the fairing to match the upper fairing.
