i did yesterday 155mph on the autobahn. i think its more or less topspeed of my fz. maybe 2 or 3 miles per hour more...
when i bought the fz it was running on three cylinders and my topspeed with the three working spark plugs was something around 130mph when i remember it correct.
bought a gopro 4 session two weeks ago and now i commute everyday with the gopro to work and back.
the reason was/is safety. there are so many stupid and dangerous drivers. and there is always "one" of them that is tyring to kill me every single day!
i need to have a videoproof in case of an...
exactly the same what i was thinking.
btw: mpg? use the freakin metric system and behave normal like the rest of the world! i really need to laugh every time i see this "funny" units... lol

and you really care about your fuel consumption on a...
i'm 30 and started riding in 2011 with 25 years on a yzf-r6 '11.
i did 10k km in my first season, one half on the track, the other ~5k km on normal roads.
still have the r6 and now i also own a FZ6 Fazer '04 since juli '15 for the way to work and traveling across germany/europe.
think the next...
same for me.
i keep my fazer in a passage to the backyard behind a locked gate.
its dry and tarped with a motorcycle cover.
behind the other bike you see in the background:
my fz6 costs about 3000€ used with 10k km.
so you really would prefer that chinese-thing over a used fz6 fazer?
you cant build a decent and save motorcycle for that costs, neither in china.
cheers

paulie, maybe you add a poll on this topic/thread.
then we got a statistik for your question ;)
btw: i am 176cm tall or small and use a Puig Racing windscreen.
i bought the bike in juli and it is fitted with Michelin Road Pilot 2 2CT.
in my opinion its a very decent tyre, its lasts long on rides over the autobahn and has enough grip on the edges (2CT).
with this tyre i also have this kickbacks, but its enough to be not normal.
on the r6 i have conti...
took her today for another ride, no autobahn only normal roads on the countryside. so, no highspeed-difference test.
there is still the impression of more mid-range power for me.
ozgurakman, dont know why the result for you leads to a buzzing engine noise.
mine now sounds deeper and the...
i did the airbox-mod today.
also changed the filter to one from k&n.
i did not increase the intake hole itself, i just cutted out the hole snorkel area. not more.
there is clearly a deeper and louder noise of the intaking air when you rev the engine.
also the is a strong increase of deep sound...
these effects can also be caused by a not acurate installed or defective steering bearing.
i will replace mine this winter (~15.000 km).
but we have 12°C here in hanover. normal would be somthing near or under 0°C.
absolutly amazing for riders weather, a little bit strange but warm :)
P.S. the...
sounds like "normal" kickback/tank slapping for me.
when i had it the first time it was on the autobahn with my rj15 while i was doing >220km/h over a bridge.
in this sitation it was caused by the expansion joints/seams of the bridge (winter-summer temp. differences...) that were like a big...
