Me and my buddies decided to go for a little walk.
This route is one of our favorites, too bad the roads quality is not the best.
I'm the one in front with the silver helmet.
If you guys decide to watch the whole thing, i recommend this playlist for background music...
So, here's a short review after about 1k mile with a rear Roadtec Z6.
- so far so good, grip is fine, handling is real nice, wear almost not noticeable (it is truly a touring tire)
- i had a surprise on one of my rides, it was raining, and in a medium corner i was leaned in a bit, and maybe...
Some of you may know it, some of you may not.

Btw, may i suggest some meme emoticon lib ? (i have no idea if there is a lib out there for this CMS)
Attached the pic in which the wire goes. i have no idea what it is.
(found on a greek site this (after google translate:) Ability electronic displacement sensor connectors PATROL LINE HPA-61)
Yes, that is my concern as well.
Ive read what you have pasted in from that website, but was curious if some of You has any personal experience with it, or with something similar.
Yes, by "lifting sensor", i mean motion/movement detector.
At first i thought as well that it is the antenna, but according to an Italian schematic, it is not :|
I am not removing it, nor do i intend to, this all started with me detecting a foreign cable at my battery :))
So, I finally had the time to investigate further this issue of my.
I have found the cables end, and yes, it is aftermarket. There is a HPS 447/A alarm in the bike, and the black wire goes to its lifting sensor.
(module called HPA 61 - it is strange because the alarm activated without this...
Thanks for the tips.
I have lifted the tank, and located the sensor, and than iv'e noticed something fishy.
The previous owner put in a a MEMJET something, and after reading about it this may be the reason my intake temperature is always the same.
I have no idea if this MEMJET is good for my...
So, here it goes.
1.)
On my odometer, if i longpress the reset buton, the time changes to the temperature of the intake air.
My issue is that this always shows 12c, no mather if its hot like hell, or cold like in Siberia, this value does not change.
Is there a way i can test if the...
Sorry to hear that Bogdan,
im glad you managed to solve it with your local mechanic.
I was opting for that version as well (since the nearest Yamaha dealership is about 75 km away from my town - it is kinda frustrating to me), but i found a webshop ( motomus dot ro ) that delivers oem parts in...
Today i have serviced my rear wheel,
inspected bearings, spacers, etc., cleaned, lubed it, and so on...
And when i took of the rear wheel i have noticed two strange bends on both sides on the inside of my rear swing arms.
Is it supposed to be like on the pictures ?
Is it a factory thing or a...
My only reason is price.
I actually bought a rear Roadtec Z6, dot 2014, so far im satisfied.
I will write a full review, i just didnt have the time for it.
So my nut and washer arrived :D
Ive decided to go with the nut & washer kit (3.7$), part number 90891-10124.
I did not find anywhere what this kit contains, so ordered it blindly.
But for 3.7$, was worth the "risk".
It contains the following:
90179-18006 - nut (12mm thick, size 32)...
Thank for the pictorial Motogiro.
Yup, it was really rusty.
Maybe the problem was not the reason Yamaha has issued its nut recall.
Still, this nuts tightness got on my periodic check list!
Yesterday i have cleaned the axle and the sprocket from the rust and the surplus chain lube...
