Crazy glue project complete. Looks brand new, minus the scratches on the turning signal. Have rode the bike a few times since fixing it and hit a few good sized bumps on the road going at a good rate of speed. It still holds, and I hope it stays that way. Cheap fix worked. ;)

I would like to purchase Kevlar (the type sewn into riding jeans) and and sew it into the inside of my jersey. I have a perforated leather jacket, but on really hot days I prefer to use the jersey when I ride locally. Anyone know of a place that sells Kevlar fabric for a good price? Thanks!

Yes, that tab is definitely riding ABOVE the steal cutout, instead of in it. Thanks for the heads up and advice. I will also measure the plastic hinge to make sure a piece did not break off.
