It's a tough call but I do like the look of the gsxr and with current deal I'm being offered(price of bike + price I'm getting for my fz6 + 2 years warranty on new bike) does seem very appealing. It's the guilt with regards to paying £1000 on insurance for a bike that will be sat in the garage...

Understand where you are coming from but guess I won't get as much for my fz6 in 8 months time to offset the loss on the deal. Also the fz6 will be due a major (24k) within that time so again wouldn't offset the deal

I spoke to my current insurer and they are unable switch the policy over due to it being a super sport which their underwriters won't cover. However, they will offer me a refund of 60% of the premium Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go for it unless I stick with the fz6 for another 8 months until I build 2 years NCD Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Just spoken to the Insurance company who advise they don't cover cost of repairs even if the 3rd party was at fault! If that's the case it's going to have to be fully comprehensive Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

    Insurance is as follows: 2014 gsxr 600* Fully comp - £1800 3rd party - £800 2013 gsxr 750 Fully comp - £2200 3rd party - £1300 2006 gsxr 600 Fully comp - 1400 3rd party £600 I think the decision has to be between the demo 750 vs 2014 black and white 600 Sent from my GT-I9505...
