Ok, got it. 30$ sounds reasonable.
Yep that's another thing. 8 years tires... even with no mileage should be replaced. My guess the rear is also stock.
That is also my thought. If the bike was driven it can be in a better comdition.
2008 bike with 6.5k miles was driven approx 800 mile a year. And most likely that it isn't consistant riding, like it could stay put for months or even years without moving...
PS
the owner sais that the front tire...
What would you get: -
2007 22.8k miles few prev owners, upgrades: yoshi can.
OR -
2008 6.5k miles one owner, upgrades: seat (I think corbin or alike) and windshield.
Difference in price - $1000 more for 2008
Just my observation:
Vid1 - You were coming up a bit too fast and not paying enough attention farther up. Can often happen to anyone of us, especially in a rush hour traffic. Good avoiding maneuver but be more alert of traffic ahead the next time.
Vid2 - No biggie. She saw an opening and used...
Yes. We rented an F700GS. Not my favorite bike, but for 100$day is fine. Next time I'll rent an F800GT
I think Alps is the Mecca for motorcycles. Every motorcyclist has to go there at least ones. The unforgettable roads, the nature, people, little old/middle age towns, different cultures... Oh...
Suddenly it started to run fine again, so I decided to wait. But yesterday after I filled it up at Hess, it works harder again. Dono... I tried super and regular, but see no difference. Air filter (K&N) is still good.
I think it is running better in colder temps though. Maybe I should try this...
Who said you can't travel cross country on R6...? Moreover on a naked. I've done that too.
But try to be a passenger on a naked for hours and hours. Especially when you over 50. And, these 400cc naked from 70's and 80's had way better sits than modern naked.
On the other hand, our world...
As I said, FZ09 FZ07, and also STR are all excellent bikes and deliver tons of fun. But... they aren't made for long multi days trips, and at the same time to be an every day ride. Add a passenger.
Big fat tourers, or tall ADV's can do the first, but too much for the second. And not as...
I'm 5'6 so it is hard to find a "right" bike for me. The FZ09/07 feels just right, but they aren't suted for LD rided with passanger which I occasionaly do. Of course there are better bikes for LD then FZ6 ( FJR or even Ninja100 and alike), but these bikes are too big and heavy. Not a fen of these.

What are your thoughts on this bike? I rode the FZ-07 and 09 and loved them, but they're more street oriented than "all-around" FZ6.
FJ-09 is too tall&balky for me, but FZ6 size is just right. So, I'm waiting on...
Nice. I also use Michelin SP. I used ContiMotion's before, they are good for the money, but wear unevenly and sooner.
No valves done ever? Wow, they probably out of specs now. Do you feel any difference or sound on how the engine works? I wonder if out of specs valves give any feedback or warnings.
Yes, I'll replace it when get a chance. Interesting thing is that it's a reoccurring condition. Sometimes the bike runs like a champ, and other times it puts effort. Maybe a warmer weather also influence on it. (Oil?)
I also heard good reviews about Shell Rotella T6
