The snatchy throttle used to bother me, but I don't even notice it any more. I had forgotten about it until I saw this thread. One thing I did was adjust all the free play out of the throttle cable.
I sent my seat to Spencer also. He used the Supracor material (I think that was the name of it) and shaved it down maybe a half inch. The factory seat cover was used and it looks the same, only more comfortable and a little lower.
I received the KN clutch yesterday and got it installed today - thanks for the quick shipping. I did have to remove the airbox so I could get at the clutch mid-adjuster like you said (turned it all the way in). I left the plastic clip securing the cable to the frame off so I might be able to get...

Ok, thanks - I will try both 4 and 5 settings. I have noticed it was a little bouncy on rough patches of road, like the rear was losing contact a little.
I will probably install that fender eliminator and measure the clearance....the directions say 4.5 inches minimum measured at a right angle...
Hi everybody - great forum! Probably the most helpful I have seen. I did a search for this answer but didn't find anything.
I have a 2008 FZ6 that is lowered with a Soupy's lower rear shock mount - I think it lowers the bike about an inch, and also I have lowered the front about 3/4 inch...
Just finished installing Daryl's cable (very well made - looks factory). Everything went smooth and it works great! Took me a little longer because I installed a new clutch cable while I had the airbox off. Thanks!
