Ok, so I started the paint job last night and this is what I have so far. I went with a yellow on the side ans left the factory black down the middle. I plan to add a white stripe to break the two colors. I also think I am go to add the "road" stripe on both sides.

If I have a wide enough ramp and feel comfortable I will slowly ride it up or I will start it, put it in 1st and use the motor as I walk next to it. Important to know you can either make the jump into the bed or have something to step up with lol

I simply put the side stand down and tie down from the handle bars, 1 strap from each side to the lower hooks in my bed. I don't even tie the back down and never had a problem.

I just purchased my first fz6 that had a broken speedo and I am looking for a cheaper way to replace it rather than buying new from the factory. Has anyone installed a trailtech Vapor or similar speedo on their FZ?

I just picked up my first FZ6 with 7500 miles the only problems were the fairing and speedo were broken in a slow speed crash. I have stripped everything and am now looking for a naked style headlight that I can add a windscreen to. Does anyone have a set up with a windscreen or opinions?
