    New *2017* MT-09 in Sydney!

Went for a good ride (1.5 hours each way) with a passenger, mostly highway. Rear suspension is a bit bouncy with a pillion - though the roads were a bit primative and far from smooth, so that probably added to it. About as comfortable as you can expect with a larger rider (no razzing me for the...

    New *2017* MT-09 in Sydney!

Sure thing. First thoughts - I'll be going for a good ride this weekend and should have some updates on how it handles out on the motorway, in the twisties, and with a pillion. 200km on the odometer and I can tell you they've improved the seat - it's flatter and more comfortable than the FZ6 -...

    New *2017* MT-09 in Sydney!

Hey guys - Been down in Sydney for the last 5 months - loving it, great place to have a bike for sure. Had an 06 CRF450 Supermoto for a while, but it got stolen last month, which meant it was time to replace with something nicer. I picked up my new ride on Friday with 8km on the clock. If...

Parts for 2006 S1 - Red - Lots of free things here

Hey guys - sorry - all the stuff is sold and or gone - I got rid of the bike, a guy came down from Michigan the week I was back in the US and picked it up - painful to let it go. He took most of the good parts with it, and the rest of them are in a scrap yard. FYI - since I've been in the...

My First Wreck-Where Do We Go From Here?

I've got a lot of S1 parts (2006) that I no longer need - just haven't gotten around to selling them yet. (Forks (straight but a seal is leaky), Brakes, Exhaust, Front Fairing/Headlights, and other small things) - If they work for you, and you decide to go down this route then I'll part with...

    Need some help !

Extra rubber hose would have made things a bit easier, I couldn't track down what I was looking for so I wound up being needlessly frustrated. Fortunately I was still gun shy of pinching my fingers after an incident with a hammer back in December, so I was expletive free!

    Need some help !

I just finished (this weekend) changing the seals and completely rebuilding a pair of R6S (Same as an S2 FZ6) front brakes that were seized and all fouled up. I'll say be ready for some frustration, it can be pretty tough to get the pistons out if things aren't cooperating. I used a compressor...

FZ6 S2 2008 TRUE Y PIPE TO STRAIGHT PIPE CHERRBOMB/GLASSPACKS EXHAUST (stock cover)

Here's the mufflers I used, when I packed them (Cut open with an angle grinder, stuffed them full of packing material, then welded them back up) Flo-Pro 3300 Muffler Turbo Pack I've been able to get a good sound out of them, they're a bit loud, but with a bit more baffling, I think you'll be...

FZ6 S2 2008 TRUE Y PIPE TO STRAIGHT PIPE CHERRBOMB/GLASSPACKS EXHAUST (stock cover)

I've gone down the path, decided not to do the dual for simplicity at the time, I'd say without gutting your under-seat you'll run into issues with space for a factory Y or h pipe, I wound up going with a bent 1.75" from the Mid-Pipe to a JonesGlasspack (off of Summit) I think it was either...

Thanks man, The office is in the heart of the CBD, so what your saying makes perfect sense! Not sure on the details about which office would be paying me, still figuring out those details. I'm not sure exactly how our company is structured with that regard. I'm fairly certain I'll be paid in...

Possibly moving to Sydney - tips/advice about everything welcome!

Thanks guys, I'll be checking out those sites, have an important meeting about this next week, so I'll have an update coming in the near future. I'll be sure to come up for a ride and or visit. Odds are my bike in Oz won't be an FZ6, it may be time for a city focused supersport, supermoto, or...

Possibly moving to Sydney - tips/advice about everything welcome!

Hey guys, My company may be sending me to our Sydney office for the next 2+ years, which is really awesome news. It's not official yet, so don't try and sell me your bike for gobs over the asking price just yet! I've got a handful of questions related to riding and living - since those...

Radiator flushed and mounted, I'll hold off on fluids and checking until I get the rest of the bike back together, but it looks like it should do the trick. Thanks!
