It's an overflow hose I think it's for the fuel tank. It looks like it's right where it's supposed to be.

I also started on the dirt, but my first street bike was an early eighties kz305 it was a good easy to ride starter bike.

I have a Givi us20 and it has been great. All the straps and buckles are serviceable I believe.

IMHO it is better to store it with the tank as full as you can get it with stabilizer in it.

Also a good idea to lube the chain.

+1 on the above. There should be one wire that is 12volts all the time going into the gauge cluster. That wire is for memory just like in a car stereo. Sounds like one way or another that wire got hooked up to a switched source.

I started in the dirt on an old sl100 honda. Had several other dirt bikes before coming to the street. Best way to learn imo.

Kind of sounds to me like a secondary ignition issue. Maybe a wire or coil opening up under load when they get hot.

I am running Pirelli angels I've go about 4500 on the rear and it doesn't look half worn out. I have never had any problem with traction wet or dry.

This is my 07 and my brothers 650 vstar on a 500mile trip from Des Moines to NE Iowa. Neither of us have real luggage but the backpacks strapped to the seats seemed to work well.

Ya it should be 1 bulb with two filaments inside 1 for the tail light and the other for the brake light. Most likely the tail light filament is burnt out. try a new bulb.

No garage and the shed is too small the fz gets her own room in the basement.
