My cable has been lubed a month ago, at the same time I adjusted the clutch.
I like my clutch to bite really close to the grip, so it's not uncommon for me to have to deal with that "slack" at the far end of the lever travel. I've had it on other bikes before, and the only way to get rid of...
Mine does the same thing, even with the stock lever.
It won't harm anything to leave it like that, but I just got into the habit of pushing it back between shifts so that it's always where I expect it to be when I reach for it...
I wear an Icon Variant Construct most of the time, but I also have a Scorpion EXO-700 Neon for night, bad weather or windy days.
Both of them are awesome!
UV light is what causes the paint to fade, and since the early 90's they got around that by adding UV protection in the clear coats they put on top of anything and everything that gets painted. The trouble with the Hi-Viz colors is that they use the UV rays to create that blinding brightness, so...
I got the exact same Helmet and I love it!
I was really impressed with the color too. It really sticks out in traffic and makes the Hi-Viz vest look dull. I think a buddy I ride with described it best: "It's one shade shy of glowing!"
I use it mostly for night riding and when it's...
In that case you'll be fine. Just leave the turn signals alone and plug the big connector of the Motodynamics light where your original tail light used to be and you'll be all set!
It depends what setup you want.
What requires splicing wires is when your setup doubles some (or all) of the light functions, because the Motodynamic tail light isn't built for that.
If you just use the original turn signals and the Motodynamic light only as a brake light, you won't need to...
The motodynamic light IS plug and play. You only need to unplug original tail light and turn signals and plug in the motodynamic tail light.
The turn stalks, on the other hand, are not. For these you will need to splice into wires and connect them. There are 5 wires for each side so it's not...
I got all the parts in last week so I played with them this weekend to figure out the wiring, and mine works!
From what I got, as long as you splice the turn stalks in the original wiring harness from the bike (as opposed to the new wiring of the Motodynamic tail light) you should be fine. If...
Ok, the book came in last friday and I started flipping through it over the weekend. I'm far from being done reading the whole thing, but here are my first impressions:
It's a pretty good book and it has LOTS of good info. You get good tips on a lot of motorcycle related topics (how to choose a...
That's what I bought too and the last bits came in last week.
I haven't installed it on the bike yet, but I got it all wired up and it's not a hard thing to do as long as you are ready to splice into wires... I figured it was easier to do all the wiring BEFORE I install everything on...
