    Rear alignment question:

I have always just used the hash marks and never had an issue of instability or uneven tire wear. That's what they're there for. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

New owner - fixing terrible throttle

I still bet new cables would solve the problem. I'd do that first before messing with springs. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    Slowly Losing Coolant in Overflow

I thought about that too, but he's losing a lot. If he had milkshake oil going on he'd know by now. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    Slowly Losing Coolant in Overflow

Since there's no clear leak, my first suggestion would be to pressure test the system to try to find the leak. You can add a UV dye then look for it with a UV light. It has to be going somewhere. Have you had someone ride behind you and specifically look for smoke? Sent from my XT1650 using...

New owner - fixing terrible throttle

I second Motogiro suggestion. - Check that the cable is routed properly (could have been installed wrong by previous owner). - Lube the cable - adjust the throttle free play. This helps a lot. Too much free play contributes to a 'jerky' feel when getting back on the throttle. Sent from my...

The fuel pump connector is under the tank, make sure that it didn't come unplugged. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Then it should be either bad fuel or a bad fuel pump. When you turn the key on before hitting the starter, you should hear the electric fuel pump running. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    2006 Yamaha FZ6

What do you mean by can't get it to catch? Does the engine turn over? Gotta have the basics. Fuel? Spark? First thing I'd do is put fresh fuel in it. You can also remove the air box and spray some starter fluid directly into the intake while cranking to see if she'll fire. Sent from my XT1650...

where to purchase a left front turn signal with wires?

The housing doesn't come with any wiring? Strange. Just match the gauge and replace the wires. Nothing special, it's just wire. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Make your FZ6 key into a SnapOn screwdriver

To each their own, I guess. Just not for me. Not sure why I'd want a key that big that no longer can go in a Keychain. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

When selling do you allow test ride??

The only way I would allow a test ride would be if I had cash in hand for the full amount. No exceptions. You broke it/crashed it/dropped it, you bought it. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    08 FZ6 Condensed Build thread ~Final Impact~

I like them, I just can't believe how expensive they are. It's on my list, just can't justify it now. I love the DRL feature and the combined brake/run/turn for the rear. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

    The conversion thread - FZ6S to FZ6N

I finally joined the naked club. I went the Vs1 route, but with bard end mirrors instead. Working on getting a new speedo bracket since the one that comes with the Vs1 kit is really flimsy. Vs1 kit, Suzuki GSX-S 750 handlebar, bar end mirrors, two brothers carbon exhaust, two brothers juice...

    Purchasing new brake pads

Not sure what you meant by single sided, but there's always a pad on either side of the rotor. In other words, you need 2 pairs.

    FZ-1 Handlebar

Thanks. Actually.... After sitting on the new GSX-S750 at the bike show, I really liked how the suzuki bar felt, so I just bought that one. I WILL install that one, so I'll post some pics at the mods section once I get it done.
