by the look of the pic there is a insert inside the nut. where the 2 groves are between the nut wall and the bolt stick two screwer drivers in the groves and try to turn the insert out. its sort of the same idea as a c-clip.

The only thing is with doing it that way is that your low beam filiment in your right hand side bulb will still be on when you turn on your high beams. 2 filiments on at the same time in one bulf = lots of heat. you can fix this buy installing a automotive light relay (5$) in the lighting...
