not being happy with the stock FZ6 bars, and not really liking the FZ1 bars (too straight)....I picked up some FZ6R bars....rise is the same as the FZ6 bars, width is about 3/8" less per side...the big thing is the pull back...1" less at the ends...I don't have to bend my wrists at a funky angle...
ordered up the new Pirelli Angel ST from motorcycle-superstore.com today. I just finished up a set of Pirelli Diablo Stradas that I really liked. The Angel is replacing them in Pirelli's line up. They sold me the Angels for cheaper than the Stradas. Now all I need is a nice fall to get some...

finally modified a harley lift I had laying around to lift the FZ. It supports the bike on the frame sliders and a frame crossmember underneath. Now I can take the front and rear rims of together and also drop the whole front end and swingarm to service the bearings....::rockon:

rode A Can-Am Spyder today and loved it. Did not find the steering squirrly, scary, or twitchy like some say. I could weave back and forth in my lane with ease (and no fear) and it was easy to hold a straight line without thinking about it. The stability control is great - really lets you do...

Ordered up some solid red side covers from the '06 model and popped them on my '07. Balances the red front to back now. The black ones with the cheesy red sticker that came stock just did not cut it. Before and after pic:

hmmm. I really do want to go thru the hassle of painting my '07 sidecovers red, so I was wondering if anyone tried to slap on the solid red ones from an '06 (paint codes are teh same). The part numbers are vastly different between the 2 years. Usually when just the color changes, they...
