I've been riding for 20 years and have owned a litre bike only once and was not for a long time. I just cannot justify paying more ins for it when the 600 has plenty of power and can get you into trouble all the same. Both bikes are a great choice. Good luck!!

Ya; 20 years licensed. My gixxer 1400 a year. My fz6 580!!! That's a big difference.

Well i sold my gixxer to buy an 08 fz6 and would never go back. Up here in Toronto Canada; you need 2 jobs just to pay for the ins on these ss bikes; so i can't say enough how happy i am with mine. At least with my fz; i can still go fast and do it comfortably!!!

Hi guys. New to the board. Just got my 2008 fz6 delivered last week. Gotta say; very nice ride compared to my gsxr. Anyway; i am from Canada and the bike i purchased is a US bike. Everything is in mph. Is there a way i can switch it to kph?? Thanks!!
