I have LED's all over my bike as well, and so far the ones right next to the exhaust and engine parts are fine. They can handle temps around 300 before starting to melt the waterproof casing they are in. I live in IL and have gotten pulled over for my LED's even though mine are all over the bike...
The company Oznium is a very good company. I get all my led's from them. If there is a problem with them all they do is send you new ones and thats it. A simple email gets you replacement leds.
I did the bridge two low beam bulbs..... About 6 months it burned out. Replaced it did not reconnect the wire and 1 year still there. I think it was because of all the extra heat but all i know is it burned out while my high beams where on.

The shop I went to just spent time taping them off for me. So far no problems. Dont for get to seperate the plate with the two screws on the rear set, they have rubber in there as well. You propably already did that...
When i took mine home from the box, i checked it over like 100 times that night. I notice also that with about 15 miles on her the rear wouldnt spin anymore then one turn. I called dealer he told me give it at least the 600 mile check up. Sure enough he was right she spins about 2 to 3.5 turns...

Quick update. I found both front and rear sprocket nutz are 32 mm. Put on new sprocket yesterday but im waiting for speedo healer to get in. Well i was getting itchy so i took the bike out before and after the work... Night and Day difference. Its like riding a whole new bike. Throttle is not...
