This is exactly the reason that I ride with my high beams on at all times. Others may be annoyed by it, but I'll gladly take any advantage I can to be seen on the road. If they are annoyed, then mission accomplished.

I have a 2005 FZ6 and just had this replaced last summer under warranty when I took the bike in to have the Throttle Positions Sensor replaced (from the sounds of your message, I'm glad I did). I would contact your Yamaha dealer to see if your bike is covered as well.
