I have to remove the fairing to get my bike into a trailer. Can I start it with the front fairing removed/disconnected?

What did I lose and how much will it cost me? Seems like just a plastic cap or some such?

Are there any other options for the fz6 blinkers that are good? I'd like to get rid of the stock ones, as I see them being a) ugly and b) a great thing to snap off the front fairing in a crash...

So I got a medium dowco cover, based on recommendations by some on this forum...and it doesn't seem to quite fit over the entire bike....can someone show me a pic of a size medium cover "properly" on their bike? And perhaps a size large as well if you have one? It's a Dowco motorcycle...

So, when getting on and off the bike, I have now kicked the rear grab bar 9/10 times I get off. I just am not tall enough to clear it otherwise without tapping my foot against it....and I don't want to scratch it. Is there any protection available for these other then making one myself?

So i'm 5'8, 185ish lbs, and I can't flatfoot my FZ6. The current spring preload is at a 6, and I'm not sure thats the right number...of course I can load the spring more, and thus lower the bike a bit, but thats not what it's meant for. 2 questions a) What should my preload setting be...

Anyone got one of these they want to get rid of that fits an 08 FZ6
