so then did any one need soft luggage pannier racks to keep them away from the exhaust? thinking about doing a bit of touring and soft luggage is all i could afford. id hate it all to smoke and melt before i even got down south to the ferry!

am i right in thinking the engine oil and gearbox oil is completely seperate? thought they would be two different types of oils and running at different temperatures? if so can anyone tell me how you would check the gear box oil? thanks :confused:

I have the same problem sound like ts coming from the top of the engine block?!.. It is really concerning also it now sounds like exhaust is blowing but all pipes look good no corrosion mines a 2006 with 12000 miles on it, can anyone help? Bolts all look fine, is it a common problem for this...
