I love the idea of a full naked super sport bike, but I also have seen the B-king in person, and it scares the $#!+ out of me, and I didn't ride it. Most of the power of a Hyabusa in more usable rpm's and it's cruiser big!!! Definitely would consider it though. Naked is my favorite color!

Thanks for the well wishes all! I've got the owner of the local bike shop hunting down another Raven 08 FZ6, just a matter of time... So I assume by next weekend I'll be riding again. And definitely would like appreciate some company for the big return to the road as my only other biker friend...

You're right, they are competing with Suzuki, but in my eyes this is more a competitor with the GS500 models. It's just a 4 banger version by a diff. manufacturer.

It's been 5 months since my bike and I tumbled down the highway, and I decided it's time to get back on. My injuries are as healed as they're going to get, and my riding gear has just been replaced. Now I just have to get a new bike and I'm back on the road! Bike shop, here I come!!! :rockon:

Not a gps, but I use my Ericsson K850i phone with google maps when I get too far off the beaten path (lost). The newer versions of google maps find your location within 200-1700 meters based on the cell towers you use, and with 3.5g network, it's every bit as fast as a gps, and you can google...

+1 on the B-King. Almost bought one instead of the FZ6, but the insurance was through the roof! Saw one at the dealership this weekend and I'm glad I got the FZ. B-King looks HUGE, and I don't think I'd have the maneuverability I do with the FZ... Damn sexy bike though!:rockon:
