I don't believe you have to "blip" the throttle when downshifting (engine breaking). It's all about smooth clutch control. You can downshift into first gear going 25mph, and as long as you let the clutch go gradually, you will not lock up. Trust me, I do it all the time. Like I once read before...

Yeah, I thought about going the aftermarket route also, but that's only if I can't get the stock mirror for the right price. Paying $60 for a mirror is BS.
