Do you have a charger which is able to supply power on itself? Maybe you could try it like that... Just an idea to test whether it's the battery that's screwed here.

Good to hear about the frame sliders saving your engine. For conversion question, it's best to ask somebody else. As a matter of fact, Yamaha did that for me: it's an official Yamaha FZ6-N! Only added bellypan, windscreen and a fender eliminator. Thanks for sharing your story and good luck...

I'm mostly in Eindhoven, but the bike is safe and dry in Limburg. Can't get it inside here and she's just too pretty to sleep outside in a city like this. Had her in Zeeland at first, but Limburg seemed more fun :-D Would like to hear from you if you know twisty roads just across the border...

just for clarity: you were lane splitting @ 100mph OR were you lane splitting and afterwards doing 100 mph :confused:
