like nathanizer said, if the ECU is messed up because water or whatever leaked into it.. All you can do is check the wiring, not sure if there's any way to test the ECU.

Fz1 or fazer1000?? I thought the fz1 always had the digital speedo (like the 2007+ fazers) edit: just read the wiki, old fz1 did have that speedo, don't think we had that one in europe, do we???

I think I read somewhere here that the fz6 doesn't really need one? not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure I don't need one.
