It's better, but I think all the 2007+ riders would be just as happy on a 2006 if the 07+ model changes never occured. A non-issue in my book, but it's easy enough to upgrade to 4-pot brakes and install a Power Commander (for even better tuning than the 07+ anyways).

What size did you get? I contemplated buying one for my Triumph before I picked up the FZ6 but am still interested since I start to move around a bit on the seat after about 3 hours.

I looked for bar risers, a shorterned windscreen, grips, lowered pegs, and a throttle lock before noticing the seat.

How does the tail bag attach? I just bought a Cortech tail bag that has 4 bungee mounting points. The cords barely touch the paint just in front of the exhaust, but I doubt it will mark anything. I have an 06 though so I have the black/unpainted grab rails.

I only see two for 186 Euros. It's the "Bargains" listed on the right side of the FZ6 page, right?

STOP! You are talking about a completely different (but related bike), the Kawasaki ZR-7s. The ZR-7 (and ZR-7s) were sold in the usa BEFORE the Z750s came out (2000-2005 were the years iirc). The ZR-7s has the ancient air cooled motor, although it is very liveable and reliable after...

For certification it will have to be a MAP distance of 1000+ miles (since nearly all motorcycle speedometers/odometers read a little high). I think I'm going to try and get one in last-minute sometime in the next two weeks (before I start my junior year of college). I just picked up the FZ6...

MN'er here as well :rockon: Picked up a 2006 FZ6 with just under 3k miles three weeks ago from today and have put just shy of 1000 miles on it. Planning on doing a SS1k early September as well. Live in Minneapolis and go to the U of M but I commute to 3M for work and am in Woodbury...

Hi all, this is my first post on the forums :rockon: Just picked up a 2006 FZ6 iwth a hair under 3k miles on Friday. Turns out the previous owner did not have the factory tool kit. I'm mostly looking for the preload adjusting tool, but the large wrenches for the axles would be nice too...
