I had an fz6, now im on a fz1, but boy do I want a BMW K1200S. 1300 if it was cheaper lol. Can get a 2007 k1200S with 30.000km's for about 10.000 euros, packed with options. But I just finished making the fz1 pretty... unfortunatly my knee doesn't agree with the fz1. I'm somewhat to tall for it...

I upgraded to the fz1, but the fz8 is a great bike as well! fz6 with a little more power, the nice ass of the fz1 (looks a little more sporty than the fz6), a GREAT road bike. congratz on the upgrade :)

that Xray looks a little like mine last july lol, except my fz6 was declared dead and I got to upgrade to an FZ1. Hope the recovery goes just as well as mine did, the only thing reminding me about it is a little bump on the once broken bone.

I like the OLD OLD style best, looks a little like the akrapovic ones, which I loved untill I killed em. The new leo's stick out a tad to far for my taste.

well the fz6 has the most clunky gearbox I've ever had on a bike... But it sounds like it wasn't fully engaged.

When I was at the track with my fz6, I didn't get my center stand to the ground, but my sidestand.. scraped of about 4 mm, managed to get it back up safely, but still.

Now I don't know you personally, so I dont know why you weigh in at 108kgs, and im not trying to say something offensive, but is it possible for you to lose some weight?? I don't know how tall you are, but if you lose 20kgs (I'm 1.85 meters myself and weigh +/- 80kgs), it will also accelerate...

The only thing I absolutely hated about the fz6 was the gearbox. When I rode her hard from 0-60 it had trouble getting into 2nd gear, grinding teeth or going into neutral as a result. Have absolutely no problems with my fz1's gearbox.
