So for anyone interested the shipping costs for the setback plates is: EU countries EUR8.56 Rest of the world EUR 11.98 These prices are for registered mail. I could save a couple of euros if it was not registered, but I'd like to avoid as much risk as possible in transit.

As the title says I have these up for sale. Both are brand new, never got the chance to use them as I sold the FZ. Stompgrips are the universal ones. Same as these Anyone that has a reasonable offer can PM me. I'll need to go to the post office and have an estimation of shipping costs if...

:) Great thread...It's apparent that this site can keep many members, even after they sell their FZ6. This fact speaks volumes for the quality of the forum discussions IMO.

I am waiting for several items to show up on my doorstep, but the Icelandic volcano seems to have delayed deliveries a bit. Do you people get your mail deliveries on time in Europe? Any updates? It's been a few weeks since I've watched the news :( I suppose all flights are resumed now?

I've riden the ducati gt1000 and loved it. Web Bike World has an article about it if you'd like to have a look. The seating position is pretty much vertical. Give it a go, if it's comfy for you, I think it could be a bit more interesting than a cruiser.

my cbr needed new brake pads (front AND rear) after 4300km in the previous owner's hands....WTF? But my FZ had 25.000 when I sold it and the pads had plenty of life left in them.

The European market offers helmets that meet different safety standards. RF has Snell certification and DOT. XR have ECE something... HTH

I used 3-4 different filter tools on my FZ6 with no results. I simply had no space to work...I always ended up using the screwdriver method which I hated...

I think that it's recommended to replace car batteries every five years. Can't really think any reason that would make a bike battery different. :confused:

I voted 1000+ but I just remembered I had the frame sliders since day 1...
