Well , I did it, sort of. I just phoned in a deposit on...a 2009 blue FZ1! I just couldn't get the bike out of my head. I also decided that I'd go with the '09 over the '08 if I could get a deal on that. I offered my bike + $4000 and we settled on my bike + $4100. So of course I'm feeling guilty...

This bike runs hot, especially in stop and go. The fan reliably kicks in at the appropriate temp and will keep the engine where it needs to be. What you are describing is typical in my experience.

I am very happy to hear your news. As a gastroenterologist I have found that cancer many times and many people have been able to beat it! You two also make for a handsome couple. A future in Hollywood maybe?

No way have I "outgrown" the bike. It's just that "new" thing. The meanest invention the advertising world ever invented is that word "upgrade". I've bought into that mentality hook, line, and sinker.
