Welcome to our great forum! Fuel injectors could have been clogged with particulate. Is the fuel new? Make sure your fuel pimp is provides 36 PSI fuel pressure. Did you get the OEM fuel pump? Any error codes?

Yes they should be compatible. You could also use the S2 Instrument cluster from the FZ6 or the FZ1. If you use the S2 version you will use a jumper wire for the back light. If you use the S2 FZ1 unit it has a lower RPM red line but who's shifting at 15,000 feet.

Welcome to our great forum! It might be good to check the connection at the ECU module. There is a data line between the ECU and the instrument cluster. The ER 3 is the code for a problem with data transmission from the ECU and the Instrument cluster.

Without knowing exactly what has been rerouted as far as present configuration from stock wiring, I would be giving poor advice. You must be somewhat familiar with reading schematics, following color code and voltage on wiring. Unfortunately wiring colors may sometimes be a little off/confusing...

Welcome Nick! The Instrument cluster has an internal CPU that includes the The LCD driver, As Gary said, it always good to preclude your trouble shooting with checking connectors. Likely an internal failure. There are a couple of ways you can go on this. People have opened them to find problems...

Also check your fuel pressure. You may have a dirty internal fuel filter or the the fuel pump is failing to provide sufficient volume of fuel.

If you have a CPS failure you should see error code 12...

Check for possible over voltage with a voltmeter. Your Regulator Rectifier may have failed. You should see 13 plus volts but anything over 14.5 is getting high.

There are vacuum hoses at the throttle bodies and some have plugs that are removed to attach the vacuum gauges to. Check for possible missing plug or open hose. Prop up the tank and pull the airbox. Then try the idle screw. This is not just an idle adjustment.

I bet they messed the TB synch. Look for an open vacuum line. Bring the bike back and tell them you'll wait...... That idle seems cranked up too high. It's probably as high as the person that did the service.....
