no need to be like that guy..im just trying to make sure all of my bases are covered, before i do any unnecessary modifications..i am pretty sure splicing the kill switch will fix it from what everyone has described i just need the time to do it..ill try the fix and get back with yall..

thanks for the input..i went riding yesterday..and was riding perfectly fine in the morning fog (thanks weatherman) then as soon as i hit stop and go traffic on the highway it started acting up...and pissing me off..once i made it through the traffic i had no problems..until it came to slow, low...

maybe its not sinking in, but how do you jump the killswitch and are there any ill effects..i have switched the headlight wires back..it is what the yamaha dealer said it could be..causing the system to think it is grounding out and shutting itself off..but i have yet to be able to run it..well...

ok so im starting to get concerned..i did the simple headlight mod of changing the wire from one plug to the other..that is when the problem started..now it just shuts off at a stop occasionally several times..and then does the same while driving...then also sputters like the fuel is cutting...

i had the same thing happen to me, sitting still waiting to turn left at a light..i was in neutral and everything..it just shut of..and with a quick flip of the kill switch off and then back on it started with no other problems.

is anyone willing to part with their stock windscreen..i really do not care for the touring windscreen..

07-09 has an o2 sensor if i am correct

yea definitely dont let anyone say the fz6 doesnt have enough power..cuz im 240 and it lifts up the front wheel easy in 1st and keeps thru the 1-2 shift.

i have to say im really glad this blew up..i love my leos..im a little erked that my didnt come with the end caps..but that will be fixed soon..

it is very easy i did mine and i dont have a garage either..takes bout 30-45 mins

well the exhaust came in yesterday..i installed it...and eventho it doesnt have the end caps i love the titanium look...the sound is amazing...i will post pics and videos when i can

damn this stinks..im glad however we are getting stuff that no one else will have...atleast i know for sure..i have not seen any with the titaniums...im just excited...they should be in on thursday..

im glad that people still got a deal...the prices from the distributors were much higher..esp for the carbons..so we still got a hell of a deal..

well im glad that i was able to help yall..the ones i actually got were the titaniums..they are discontinued..appearantly..but i like em more than the aluminums and couldnt shell out for the carbons..but definately take advantage of a hell of a deal for a wonderful piece of equipment

i like the fairings..i bought my fz6 instead of a r6, gsxr 750 or r1 because of one simple thing...comfort..this is one of the most comfortable bikes i have ever ridden..i love it..and i do plan on putting fairings on it..and i would love to put the r6 fairings on it if someone could do a write...
