Had some new tires installed. Get on the road...shimmy at 50mph and up. I go back...and they agree to rebalance. I pick it up...take a look at front tire...yep...additional weight on it. Take it for a ride...and more shimmy...now a wobble effect! I look at the front tire again...two weights...

Thanks davey! I considered going naked...but it sounds as though it is the same cost roughly. My last bike was naked too...so I eventually landed on keeping the cowl. I think I could be persuaded either way at this point. I just don't want to pay for a new cowl at the dealer!

Hey everyone...i'm trying to figure this out but figured i'd ask in case anyone knows off-hand! Would a 2005 cowl fit on a 2007? I know there were *some* changes between the years... I have a 2007 with a cowl that's pretty busted up...and I can potentially purchase a 2005 cowl but don't...

Hey ya'll... Just sold my 2000 Kawasaki ZR-7 Ninja and bought a 2007 FZ6 that needs some TLC. (It's my third bike, but I'm still learning this stuff) The front cowl is pretty damaged...I'm wondering if I have an option to go naked or just replace it all? Which would be more cost effective...
