Nice mods that transformed the FZ1...

Nice! I've only riden a V-twin once (Duc 1000s) and it was nice experience. Rougher and more fun (at least in the city) than any I4 I have ridden. Good choice and something different in case you decide to keep both :)

Definitely not a forgiving road they chose :) The rider on the Duc is good, but I think that the rider on the bike filming was even better.... cleaner lines, less corrections. Regardless...they both did what they did with admirable ease.:thumbup:

Well, you need to decide your budget and which style you'd rather have for starters :) The options are endless. I'd avoid a Ducati if it's going to be used daily.

It's even worse down here since noone fully covers a bike. Theft, accidents etc....if it's not someone elses fault, it'll come out of your own pocket. And this can really break the bank. Good to know you and the bike are fine though...

I had the same issue with my FZ1 bars. Some have threads and some not. You'll just need new universal bar ends.

Can't really see her going far if the chain chews the dress....

I always shut it off using the stand. As soon as I park I put the side stand down, then take the key off.
